Tanisha is a registered mental health nurse and therapist and has worked in mental health settings for both adults and children for 15 years+. Tanisha has spent the majority of her career working with minoritised groups and has been lecturing in anti oppressive practices since 2018. Tanisha is also a published poet, writing about gender, race and sexuality. Tanisha currently works as a course lead and senior lecturer at Anna Freud and teaches at UCL. Tanisha is a freelance EDI trainer as well as an associate trainer at Mokita, she is extremely passionate about reducing healthcare inequalities and believes that education and empathy are the keys to changing our future.
